Three FutureLearn partners feature in top 10 MoocLab inaugural rankings

Congratulations to our partners, Coventry University, University of Michigan and Deakin University, who have featured in the top 10 of the first ever World University Rankings by MOOC Performance (WURMP), created by MoocLab, an education resource website that supports online learners.

Over the past few years, the global demand for MOOCs has increased dramatically, with the number of universities across the world delivering MOOCs increasing by over 85%. The MoocLab rankings evaluate over 200 universities across the world that offer courses on the three leading MOOC platforms – FutureLearn, Coursera and edX. The WURMP assess universities based on five indicators that measure an institutions performance across the number of MOOCs provided, the provision of learning pathways, micro-credentials, degrees and the institutions average world ranking.

FutureLearn.com currently partners with 18 universities in the top 100, three of which rank in the top 10. Coventry University ranked 4th place, University of Michigan 5th, and Deakin University gained the 8th spot.
