#FutureLearnAsks songwriting Twitter chat: the highlights

To celebrate the launch of The University of Sheffield’s course How to Write Your First Song, this #FutureLearnAsks Twitter Chat explored the art of songwriting.

Along with guest contributors Adam Wright (Lead Educator on How to Write Your First Song) and Sheffield-based musician Kate Jackson, the chat drew on the experience of songwriters from all over the world – some more seasoned, and some just starting out. We covered a variety of topics, including the line between plagiarism and inspiration, and how many songwriters secretly hope to make it big one day…
