Mark Lester to speak at World Education Congress 2019
FutureLearn’s Managing Director for Universities and Educational Partnerships, Mark Lester, will speak at the World Education Congress 2019 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on 4 July.
The World Education Congress 2019 focuses on the evolving culture of education and educational pedagogy, with the objective of deep systemic change. It builds on a vision and strategies for Higher Education Institutions and encourages collaboration and partnership among institutions.
The sessions will cover the “Evolving Trends in Education” and examine both traditional and modern knowledge systems. The Congress will also explore how education can help develop key emotional skills, as well as technical skills, allowing learners to thrive in both their personal lives, and their work lives.
Mark’s presentation will focus on The trends impacting universities today and the role for microcredentials. Mark will discuss how universities need to respond to trends such as the changing workforce in order to attract and deliver value to global students and will explain the role that microcredentials can, and should, play in this new world.
