Upcoming challenges

Now we're at the end of week 2, let's look back and forth!
Back at what you've learnt and forwards to what lies ahead

Week 2

Well done, you’ve made it to the end of week 2. In week 2, we wanted to cover a lot of the theory of physical computing before we moved onto the physical part. This week we covered data and code .

This week you’ve had a close look at data – what it is, what are the sources of data and what we do with data. Before looking at coding data, you briefly learnt about coding. We covered sequence, selection and iteration.

You then used the coding skills that you just learnt to gather data from your environment. In step 2.7 Explore the code used for collecting data we broken down exactly how we collect and analyse data using code.

These steps should give you a good solid foundation for week 3 where we introduce the physical computing challenges.

Before moving onto the challenges we wanted you to think carefully about the data you’re gathering. The previous step: What happens when data goes wrong, lists some interesting scenarios!
