Stephen Somerville, Director of Business Development at FutureLearn, will be speaking at the Connected Britain conference taking place at the Business Design Centre in London on 19th and 20th June.
Connected Britain brings together stakeholders to discuss, learn and collaborate on the UK’s digital future. With 600+ delegates and 150+ speakers, Connected Britain has established itself as the key meeting place for the UK’s broadband ecosystem. The conference will also provide excellent networking opportunities with the key decision makers and influencers who are leading the charge for better connectivity in the UK.
As part of the Connected Society stream, Stephen will be taking part in a panel session that looks at ‘Education as the key to a more digital society’. Other panellists and speakers at the conference include leading experts from the biggest operators, OTT players, altnets, government, vendors and enterprises who will share how they are embracing and adapting to the changing connectivity landscape in the UK.
As Director of Business Development at FutureLearn, Stephen has led on large scale projects such as The British Council’s Study UK campaign, part of the wider GREAT Britain campaign, The Institute of Coding in collaboration with HEFCE, and the Cyber Discovery programme in collaboration with DCMS, the SANS Institute, BT and Cyber Security Challenge UK.
